Getting back in the game with Uplift

Outside of Uplift, Chloe’s life is full of connection – hanging out with friends, cheering on the football and playing hockey with her team. But living with antiphospholipid syndrome affecting her lungs meant everyday breathing could feel hard.

Wanting to build her strength back up, Chloe found her way to Uplift Exercise Physiology. Session by session, she’s been getting stronger and finding her rhythm again.

“It’s more easy going – just building up that strength and my relationship with my coach.”

Strength that carries into everyday life

Chloe’s sessions are as much about connection as they are about training. Whether she’s chatting away on the treadmill or working through weights, the support from her coach has made all the difference.

  • Building strength safely: working through the treadmill and weights, Chloe has steadily built the muscle and strength her lungs needed.
  • A trusted coach relationship: regular chats and encouragement during sessions have made training feel more easy going, not overwhelming.
  • Real, everyday progress: Chloe is now able to jog a little and walk a much further distance than she could before.

By putting her energy into what she can do, both on the hockey field and off it, Chloe keeps building her strength and her confidence, one session at a time.
